We here at Unity of the Faith Church believe in just that… Unity!! Our 12-year ministry is rooted and grounded on the word of God from Ephesians 4:11-16. TPT
11 And he has appointed some with grace to be apostles, and some with grace to be prophets, and some with grace to be evangelists,[f] and some with grace to be pastors,[g] and some with grace to be teachers.[h] 12 And their calling is to nurture and prepare all the holy believers to do their own works of ministry, and as they do this they will enlarge and build up the body of Christ. 13 These grace ministries will function until we all attain oneness into the faith, until we all experience the fullness of what it means to know the Son of God,[i] and finally we become one into a perfect man[j] with the full dimensions of spiritual maturity and fully developed into the abundance of Christ.
14 And then our immaturity will end! And we will not be easily shaken by trouble, nor led astray by novel teachings or by the false doctrines of deceivers[k] who teach clever lies. 15 But instead we will remain strong and always sincere in our love as we express the truth. All our direction and ministries will flow from Christ and lead us deeper into him, the anointed Head of his body, the church.
16 For his “body” has been formed in his image and is closely joined together and constantly connected as one. And every member has been given divine gifts to contribute to the growth of all; and as these gifts operate effectively throughout the whole body, we are built up and made perfect in love.
In our assignment as servant leaders to Christ Jesus, we find as we are serving one another with love and integrity, we can draw all men to Christ Jesus. We believe in the gifts and callings that are ascribed in the book of acts and all the promises of God being yes and amen. We take each assignment moment by moment allowing Christ Jesus to be glorified.
Our main goal is to exalt Christ Jesus in all things, raise up disciples of Christ, and allow Him to guide our purpose, our plan, to bring good and not evil to us and to those we have been given charge over and to pray for as the spirit leads.
We have a strong youth group that enjoys Bible games and outings to promote comradery among other youth and teens. Discipleship is for these young leaders and our youth pastors take that seriously.
God has given UFC many outreach programs for our city and community, and we do that with honor and humility. City on a Hill Restoration Center was birthed in 2020 and is the home of CCR-G, A Christ Centered Restoration Group and F3G, Friday Freedom Fighters Group. We also have multiple experienced and trained spirit filled counselors on site to help with spiritual battles that need to be resolved through the blood of Jesus and some good ole prayer!
